The decision to hire an attorney is entirely up to you. In most situations, it is not necessary to have legal representation to complete the divorce process. 

Mediation's informal process enables parties to pause if they reach an impasse, shift focus to another topic, and revisit the issue later. This allows them to reconsider their positions and ultimately reach an agreement. 

Payment for each mediation session is due at the conclusion of the session.  Full payment for document preparation is required before the preparation process begins.
